Blotters Oil Absorbing

Instead of expensive oil absorbent sheets, the wax paper or tissue paper work?

Do you know the leaves of expensive oil blotting paper, absorbing fat face. I'm on a tight budget and wondered if the wax paper (the kind used for cooking) or tissue paper (gift) would work. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks!

Clean and clear makes clear the documents that are fairly inexpensive. And really cheap, but a bit disgusting, is the paper liners from his post in the toilet before sitting on it. I've never used it, but I know some artists who were in a hurry. Documents wax or parchment not absorb anything, it would be waisting your time. Tissue paper treated with chemicals as well, so non-absorbent. In a pinch, try a layer Kleenex.
