i've used susan lucci essence, and no real remarkable results.. the scrub/microdermabrasion effect can be easily achieved with a cheaper st. ives apricot scrub.. i'm in my 40s, with age spots and freckles too, but what proved effective for me is a mild skin lightening soap for the hyperpigmentation, a high spf sunscreen to prevent further freckling or spotting, and arbonne antiaging products for moisturization..

that regimen worked better for me.

Blurry eyes after wearing gel eye mask!?

II accidently fell a sleep in one and now my eyes are slightly blurry... What should I do

Just readjust your eyes to distance vision. Take them otu for a walk and some fresh air. sometimes if you put something on your eyes with some weight ( I'm fond of the sort of eye bags you use for yoga) the shape of your eye distorts temporarily causing blurring. Keeping your eyes on your distance vision and giving them some fresh air will mean they get back to normal. Im assuming you didn't get gel in your eyes by teh way. If it gets worse or you have any pain go to the doctors/opticians and keep teh gel mask so they know what it was just in case but I don't think you have any real cause to worry.

Im so scared to go tanning?

Okay so I recently started working at a tanning salon. Im 16, I got my first spray tan about 4 weeks ago, and yesterday, my boss told me that Im going to get off of work tomorrow a little early so i can go tanning. Im so scared... Im white, I have dark red hair and i burn pretty easily...

Since you're new at tanning, you should only go in for a short amount of time. Just ask your boss how long she recommends you staying in there, because you don't want to burn. It depends on what kind/how new the beds are as to how long you should go in your first time. When I started, I did 4 minutes. And even that gave me a slight burn. (But I was only like the 4th person to use the bed, so the bulbs were really new and powerful.)

Anyways, the lotions won't make you burn more, they'll just make you tan more. If you go only for a short amount of time, you won't get burnt.

As for the heat, it can get hot in the tanning beds. BUT almost all tanning beds (that i've seen) have fans in them that make it feel better. Like, you'll feel warm, but you'll have the breeze of the fan on you to make it feel good.

But don't forget to ask your boss how long you should go in. And If you start feeling too hot, or if you feel like you're getting a sunburn, just get out. (:
