Skincare Questions About Skincare Products Reviews

Robert asks…

Other skincare range(s) that is comparable to Trilogy?

I am living in New Zealand and am looking forward to change my skincare regime to natural products and I have heard a lot of good reviews about Trilogy skincare products (especially their rose-hip oil). But I’d also like to know more about other natural skincare products/brands (that can also be found and purchased in New Zealand), which are comparable to Trilogy products in terms of their effectiveness and costs. Any recommendations? Thanks heaps!

Joann answers:

I like Suki and Korres, but I use Trilogy also. I wouldnt stick to one brand, I would try different ones. Some products of certain brands are great while others arent. I use a mixture of skin products. Also remember everyone is going to have better results with different brands becasue everyone has different skin.

Mary asks…

HAS ANYONE USED AVON SKINCARE PRODUCTS? LIKE CLERALY C VITAMIN C 10% OR AVON SOLUTIONS OR SOMETHING?

REVIEWS ANYBODY?
BY THE WAY I LOVE LOVE LOVE AVON!

Joann answers:

I use them and I used to sell them. Avon has high quality department store quality skin products for a fraction of the cost. I use the line eliminator, and anew ultimate eye system. It works great.I also use force extra products. It really depends on your age as to what you need.I would recommend finding an Avon Beauty Consultant that has been trained. They have a huge line of products that are based on your skin type and age (or how much help you need for wrinkles, lol).

Laura asks…

Best Men's Skincare products?

Hello,
I'm 16 and have got problems with acne, black and whiteheads.

Which of the following companies are the best for men's skincare products?

Include some info about yourself's skin and if you're using a product of one of these companies, a brief review.

Thanks

4Voo (4voo.com)

Joann answers:

4Voo is very, very good, I happen to use the pressed powder they make.( YES 4Voo makes pressed power for men! ) I like 4/Voo a lot, it is one of the only skincare lines for men that have innovative products such as the lip plumper. My brother uses the producs and he has had wonderful results.

Nancy asks…

Frustrated with skincare products?

I have sensitive acne-prone skin that dries out with most acne cleansers (around my mouth first, then my jawline, then my cheeks go dry. I have only ever let it get far enough to dry out my cheeks), but it breaks out when I use things for sensitive skin. I want to try Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser, but since it costs so much, I don't really want to waste my money if I won't like it. Of course it has great reviews on the Philosophy website, but Makeup Alley didn't have all rave reviews.

I just realized that I didn't include how sensitive my skin is. Simply rubbing my face to put on a lotion makes it red. So does cleansing it at all :(

Joann answers:

Really I would suggest to look into Organic and Herbal Products..
Try using organic and natural facial cleaners and toners..
Go to a health food store...

Lisa asks…

Know any skincare products that actually work?

I have: Sensitive skin, oily T-Zone, blackheads (nose only), SEVERE case of spots/pimples/blemishes/zits and dry skin.

If you can recommend me something that can help with all of this, I will kiss you! (via email lol)
Seriously, though, my spots are really bad and because I've been using Tea-tree oil, its getting irritated. I've heard of Neutregena 2 in 1 mask, but most people say it only makes your face softer.
Heard of St Ives Apricot Scrub but many reviews say it causes break outs and you should only use it once a week, whereas i prefer daily stuff.

Bonus point if you can recommend me a good exfoliator too! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE :)
P.S I am Vietnamese with paler skin :O
